FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE

Holidays have passed and it was time to resume school , Emeka who is from a poor home and  attends ABESAN GRAMMAR JUNIOR SCHOOL [ IPAJA ] was so excited he was resuming a new session with other students [jss3], tho he had no new uniform but a tattered uniform with no pair of shoe or socks   . So he was all setted up for school as he stepped out of his house waving to his parents and siblings goodbye ,on his way  he met a new mate  John who is from a wealthy home looking  all dressed up for school as a normal wealthy kid will do, John called to his attention and asked to walk with him to school, Emeka answered  “yes you can,why not” with a big smile on his face and so they both walked together on the highway to school with happy faces and they both spoke about their excitement resuming a new class.And so from that day they became friends ,got to school  sat together ,did assignments together ,read together for tests,walked together to school everyday,played together, shared things together but the only one thing was that they had  differnces and both came from diferent homes Emeka had no pair of sock ,shoes but only a tattered uniform ,John had a clean socks ,shoes and a neat uniform with a jacket on  ,out of curiousity Emeka asked why he decided to have him as a friend and so john smiled and said “the fact we have these differences dosent mean you stop being my friend”.

Someone once told me that friendship isn’t what you beg for  it’s what you earn for , when friendship is earned, love comes in to beautify the whole picture in  the painting .So love those who have nothing to offer as a friend .
